DAILY
VALUATION ADMINISTRATOR
Full-time, Salaried, Exempt
General
Description:
The Daily
Valuation Administrator position supports the pension administration functions
of the firm by daily transaction posting, cash and position reconciliation,
pricing, income processing, transfer of assets, census and asset review,
financial reporting, and error resolution with multiple custodians.
Essential
Duties:
As a member of
the Daily Valuation Processing team you will facilitate the daily operation of
401(k) plan administration and the call center. You may also support
consultants and senior pension administrators on special projects and compliance
testing as required.
- Process
periodic payrolls and loan payments
- Process
loan origination, loan fees, loan payments and loan distributions
- Process
Participant requested balance transfers and changes to investment
allocations
- Process
Trust and/or Broker Dealer cash transfers between accounts
- Process
cash and unit transfers from and into self-directed brokerage accounts
- Process
Participant distributions/payments
- Perform
account reconciliation between daily and trust accounting database
- Produce,
review and mail periodic Quarterly Statements and participant certificates
- Produce,
review and mail enrollment packages.
- Post
adjustment and fee transactions
- Respond to
retirement plan participant phone calls and emails
- Assist
pension administrators in various Audits as required
Minimum Experience:
- 4-year
degree or equivalent acceptable experience and training. Degree in
Accounting, Finance or Economics preferred.

Minimum 1 year
experience in accounting, portfolio accounting experience desirable.

Expected to
complete Pension Fundamental courses within first year.

Strong PC
skills and proficient with Excel and other Microsoft Office software
packages.
Critical

communication and strong customer service skills are vital due to extensive
interaction with clients and/or brokerage firms.

Must be detail
oriented, with strong analytical and organization skills with the ability to
research and resolve problems independently.

Must be
flexible, self-motivated and a team player, able to respond promptly and
accurately to the time critical needs of the business and our clients.

Current
knowledge of the Define Contribution Plans, basic accounting and investment
products are helpful.
